What We Believe

At The Vines Church we accept and believe a traditional Christian faith.

We are a member church of the United Reformed Church's Southern Synod as well as a supporting member Church of the Evangelical Alliance.

We in The Vines Church believe in One God – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We meet to worship God, to praise Him for who He is, to give Him thanks for what He has done, especially for us His children. We come together to pray for others as well as ourselves, to hear Gods word for us and, in the Holy Communion, to remember with thanksgiving what our Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.

All who love the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome to share in our communion.

we believe that the church is not perfect, nor are those who attend perfect, but we are learning and growing day by day.

We welcome parents who wish to give thanks for their children. We hope that such a service of thanksgiving will be confirmed later in believers’ baptism.

We also believe that it is important to express the love of Christ in the community by providing practical aid and support to those in need through various projects in Medway and also in support of the poor in other countries.
